Dr. JOHN D. PURVIANCE
Dr. John Purviance comes to Central Wyoming from Tufts-New England Medical Center Radiation Oncology Residency Program in Boston, where he was chief resident from 2006 to 2007. He earned his undergraduate degree from Tufts University and his Doctorate in Medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine. He has extensive expertise in partial breast irradiation, brachytherapy, IMRT and stereotactic radiosurgery to brain, spine, lung and liver sites. During his education and continuing today, Dr. Purviance is involved with several research projects including studies in prostate and breast cancers. Dr. Purviance enjoys skiing, hiking and climbing among other sports in his spare time.
